As a member of our committee, you represent the interests of the students of Romanistics (which means of French, Italian and Spanish studies) and you contribute to a more interesting and diversified student life. As neither our association nor our committee are very large, the work charge corresponds to some monthly tasks, such as writing e-mails, organising aperos, participating on the semestrial meeting of the SUB, etc.
If you are a member of the committee during at least six months, you will receive a proof of voluntary student commitment (Sozialzeitausweis, issued by the SUB) which will be added to the diploma supplement you will receive at the end of your studies (or which you receive as a separate document). You can then add it to your application form.
Contact us via e-mail if you would like to become a member of the committee! There are no special requirements - you only have to be a Romanistics student (major or minor) and pay the semestrial contribution to the SUB (cf. your semestrial bill for semester fees). And, you can always leave the committee if you do not want to participate anymore.
